Responsibilities
The Human Resources Department is responsible for administrative and professional activities in workforce planning and employment, benefits administration, human resource development, compensation, performance management programs, Workers’ Compensation, occupational health and safety, and technical assistance for City staff.
Procedure
A completed application is required for all positions within the city. Please visit the 'Current Job Openings' page to see what jobs are available, fill out, and submit an online employment application. After a completed application is submitted to Human Resources, the application is sent to the hiring department to determine who will be interviewed for the position. Applicants for full-time positions will receive notification via phone or email letting them know the outcome as soon as possible, within four to five weeks of the closing date.
